Association of Pediatrics Physiotherapy takes giant stride

The Association of Paediatrics Physiotherapists in Nigeria (APPN) after due considerations has been accepted as a member elect of the International Organization of Physical Therapists in Paediatrics (IOPTP). As a member elect, the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy speciality interest group will be confirmed as a full member of the IOPTP at the next General Meeting which will be held during the WCPT meeting in May 2015 in Singapore.
 

The President of NSP, Mr Taiwo Oyewumi on behalf of the executive council wishes to congratulate the co-ordinators of the group on this giant stride and urge all members to identify with their own speciality group of choice to promote specialization.He also urged that members should actively participate in activities of their chosen field and follow in these footsteps to affiliate their group with international organizations to promote collaboration, professionalism as well as continuous self and professional development for the benefit of the Nigerian populace and beyond its borders.
