LOC SUNSHINE 2013 steps up gear

The Annual Scientific Conference/Meeting of the Society tagged "SUNSHINE 2013" scheduled to take place in Akure, the capital of ONDO state is still on course with full steam ahead.

The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Mr Afolabi Oluyinka while speaking to our team re-emphasized the state's commitment to ensure that the event will remain positively memorable with delegates." I took the mandate of the state to the NEC last year after due consultation with stakeholders and we in ONDO state are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a successful event". He futher mentioned that all necessary machineries are in place to ensure smooth operations and showcase the warmth and hospitality the state is renowned for. " As we are widely known as the sunshine state, the warmth and hospitality of the good people of ONDO state ensures to bring smiles on peoples faces, The LOC is going to tap into that as well as the full support of the state government for the upcoming event".

He however urged potential delegates to book thier places on time and make definate preparations to attend. " You want to get the best rates for the accomodation available when you book ahead and then you save costs as well .This will also help the LOC with adequate planning when you have the numbers to expect ahead of time and enhance effective financial appropriation. You also don't want to miss out on the conference package which includes some notable social events. We are making all efforts to finalise the proram in this regard and to ensure that all delegates have a moment of respite to relax and enjoy themselves".
