NOTICE OF NATIONWIDE STRIKE

Our iNSPired members, I bring you fraternal greetings on behalf of the National Executive Council of Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy.

This letter convey the directives of the Council to our members in public health services that we shall comply with the strike action declared by Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) and Assembly of Healthcare Professionals Association (AHPA). Therefore, by midnight of 24th May 2023 (Wednesday) all concerned members are directed to proceed on an indefinite strike.

We demand for government to display the sense of fairness, equity, Justice and impartiality in its dealings with the health professional associations. This will promote unity and better healthcare system in the country.

In view of the above, all state branches are to sensitize their members and ensure proper compliance with this directives.
