NSP collaborates with EIM to mark World Physical Activity Day 2021 max-h-[350px]

Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy celebrates World Physical Activity Day 2021 (WoPAD) in collaboration with Exercise is Medicine (EIM) initiative with the adopted theme, 'Every Step Counts'. WoPAD is celebrated around the world on  April 6 of every year and this years features a Press Release and Every Step Count Challenge. Hence, NSP is inviting her members to join actively in this celebration.

In what way?

Can you personally make your step count?

Participants can walk, dance, skip, engage in aerobic workout, jog or run anytime of the day and anywhere (including gyms, private homes and neighborhoods) that is safe considering the Covid-19 pandemic.

You can track activities such as  steps taken using a step counter eg Samsung health app, smartwatches, pedometers, on a digital device (evidences of time spent or distance taken are also allowed) and make a collage of activities done weekly.

Minimum of three outings per week is encouraged. The more you do the better.
