Third December yearly is INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

The world population is over 7 billion people and more than one billion people, or approximately 15 per cent of the world’s population, live with some form of disability; 80 per cent live in developing countries.

The theme for IDPD this year is “Leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-COVID-19 world.”

Physiotherapists are one of the leading professionals involved in (re)habilitation of persons with disabilities, especially within the hospitals.

It's high time we asked "how accessible are our own departments to persons with disabilities especially those with mobility challenges?"

Join us in this challenge as we showcase the entrances and routes leading into/out of our departments.

Charity begins with Us...

Kindly indicate the name of your department with the harshtags here and other social media platforms-
