NSP President cautions on unprofessional conduct max-h-[350px]

The guild of elders of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy both at home and in the Diaspora charged the NSP President to halt the ugly trend of "Gutter politics" on the social media with immediate effect. The elders stressed that they will not watch and allow uninformed Physiotherapists to destroy what they labored for in the last fifty five years. The elders noted further that they are disgusted with the uncensored posts being made by Physiotherapists in the name of campaign. The President was requested to communicate to the moderators and administrators of the platforms being used to put in place measures to regulate posts on their platforms. According to the elders, the information being disseminated cannot be restricted with the possibilities of information technology. According to the elders the recent posts are strong enough to destroy the profession.

NSP President accordingly therefore cautions on unprofessional conduct among Physiotherapist. He admonishes Physiotherapists to shun all form of mudslinging and campaign of calumny and focus on issue based campaign. The President distanced himself from any one under any guise campaigning for him and engaging in the use of abusive and related language. All NSP members are expected to support the goals and aspirations of the Society, put the interest of the profession before personal interest and seek the progress of the profession at all times irrespective of their political affiliation.
