NSP PRESIDENT EMBARKS ON PRE-CONFERENCE INSPECTION TOUR TO JOS, PLATEU STATE  ''JOSPITALITY 2024'' max-h-[350px]

 

 

The NSP President, Dr Felix Odusanya & the Education Committee Chairman, Dr Olusegun Adejare arrived Jos in the afternoon hours of Monday 8 July 2024. They immediately proceeded to Jos University vTeaching Hospital (JUTH) where they were warmly welcomed by Director/HOD, Physiotherapy Department, JUTH Dr Babatunde Ogundumade who is the LOC Chairman, JOSPITALITY 2024. Also around to welcome him were Dr Olorunfemi Adamolekun (PLNSP Chairman), Dr Nelson Okogba (PLNSP Gen. Sec.), Dr Collins Chiagozie (PLNSP PRO). 

The NSP President immediately met with JUTH Physiotherapists where he briefed them on developments in the Physiotherapy Profession in Nigeria and forthcoming JOSPITALITY 2024. 

The team immediately hit the ground running scouting for venues for JOSPITALITY 2024, befitting of the status of NSP.  An exotic venue befitting of excellence in the place of *Villa Grande Hotel, Gold and Base, Rayfield Road, Jos was spotted and endorsed* . This ran to late in the night and continued in the early morning hours of Tuesday, 9th July 2024 before they went into a meeting in the evening with JUTH Management led by CMD, Dr Pokop Bupwatda Wushipba. 

Also in attendance at the meeting were Dr Josiah Njem Miner (CMAC), Mrs Roselyn Sani (D/A), Prof Chundung Asabe Miner (DCMAC, Research & Ethics), Dr Nankling Lamu (DCMAC, Clinical Services) and Dr Annah Bwatyum Gyang (DCMAC, Education & Training). The meeting was warm, cordial and assuring. The management were well briefed on the forthcoming JOSPITALITY 2024. 

They were quite happy with the coming of the team. Dr Babatunde G Ogundunmade appreciated JUTH Management for granting this audience out of their very tight schedule and most especially just rising from management meeting and entering into this courtesy visit again.

The President and his team have since departed Jos, Plateau in the early hours of today to continue to policy and other matters that are germane to moving the profession forward.
