NSP President in Ife for Comrade Faniran's send-forth

NSP PRESIDENT IN IFE FOR COM. FANIRAN RETIREMENT PARTY

The department of Physiotherapy of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex rolled out the drums to celebrate an icon of the physiotherapy and a retired director of physiotherapy services, Comrade Felix Olukayode FANIRAN. The occasion was the send forth party in recognition of his meritorious service to the Physiotherapy profession and the upliftment of the department in OAUTHC. It was a befitting honour and a great appreciation of the man Faniran. 

In attendance was the NSP President Taiwo Oyewumi, who travelled from Benin to grace the occasion. It will be recalled that Com. Faniran was NSP President between 1995 and 2000.

The NSP President, at the occasion, lauded the Elder Comrade. He, in his tribute to Comrade Faniran, posited that a Prophet is not recognised at home. He encouraged others to emulate Comrade Faniran.

There was presentation of gifts to the celebrated Icon.
